During the Los Angeles Lakers and L.A. Clippers' Monday night matchup, things got heated for a while between LeBron James and JaMychal Green.

The commotion occurred near the start of the fourth quarter. As James muscled for positioning, he got tangled up with Green causing the referees to call a foul on the latter. A few elbows and some shoves were exchanged but, fortunately, cooler heads separated the two before things got ugly.

James has never been one to engage in such shenanigans during a game. He's always avoided confrontations and simply let his game do the talking. He did just that in the ensuing play, powering his way to a forceful basket inside the paint that came with a foul.

The four-time Most Valuable Player took the high road but his efforts were not enough to steer the Lakers to a much-needed win, losing by a final score of 113-105.

James tallied 27 points, eight rebounds, six assists, one steal, and one block. Brandon Ingram, who has been playing very well, was a late scratch on the night but Rajon Rondo stood up to the plate and registered a triple-double with 24 points, 10 rebounds, and 12 assists.

The Lakers were already walking on thin ice entering the night, but things only got worse for them after the final buzzer in the battle of Los Angeles.
