Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James was clearly feeling it when he knocked down a super long 3-pointer in Thursday night's game against the Houston Rockets.

LeBron received the ball on the wing early in third quarter, and given how far out he was when he caught out, it seemed as though he'd attack the Rockets off the dribble.

However, that didn't happen, as LeBron decided to let it fly from long range.

The result? One of the most impressive 3-pointers of the season for the three-time NBA champion.

Let's face it: When LeBron is knocking down shots from that distance, he simply becomes unstoppable. He already has the all the skills needed to attack off the dribble, so if he's out there connecting on shots from another planet, defenses may as well not even try to guard him.

Unfortunately for LeBron, this shot wasn't enough to lift the Lakers over the Rockets in Houston.

The Rockers walked away with a 126-111 victory, with LeBron finishing with 29 points to lead Los Angeles.

But that was no match for the production from Rockets star James Harden, as he went off for a ridiculous 50 points while shooting 14 of 26 from the field and an excellent 18 of 19 from the free-throw line.

It snapped a two-game winning streak from the Lakers, who have been playing some really good basketball as of late after the slow start to the season.

Next up for LeBron and company is a trip to take on the Charlotte Hornets on Saturday night.
