Rajon Rondo recently returned to the Los Angeles Lakers' lineup after missing more than a month with a hand injury.
Despite the fact that this is the second time this season that he had to undergo hand surgery, it seems that he's not experiencing any rust.
He just proved that against the Phoenix Suns.
Rondo was able to get a free path to the rim after a screen set by teammate Ivica Zubac. He was about to drop a right-handed hammer, but Josh Jackson was there to contest the shot. Knowing this, Rondo adjusted the shot in mid-air by and put the ball in the basket with a lefty layup.
That will definitely make the NBA's top ten plays of the night.

Rondo finished with eight points, 11 assists, and four rebounds to help the Lakers beat the Suns 116-102 to end their three-game winning streak.
The Lakers earned a much-needed win, especially since they have fallen out of the West's playoff race. They are ninth in the conference after the Suns game.
The Lakers entered the game without LeBron James, Lonzo Ball, and Kyle Kuzma, who are all dealing with injuries. Zubac led the purple and gold with 24 points and 16 rebounds. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope also has 24 points and added six rebounds. Brandon Ingram had an all-around game with 22 markers, four dimes, and three boards.
The Lakers are now facing a tough stretch, with five of their next six games against teams in the top five of either the Western or Eastern Conference standings. They will meet the Philadelphia 76ers (twice), the Indiana Pacers, the Golden State Warriors, and the Boston Celtics. Then they will face the L.A. Clippers, currently the seventh seed in the West.
