Rajon Rondo is having another impressive game for the Los Angeles Lakers.
Late in the third quarter of their game against the LA Clippers, the veteran point guard already had 18 points, eight rebounds and seven assists. One of Rondo's assists came in the first half, when he was able to give the ball to LeBron James by letting it through multiple defenders.

The Lakers are in a must-win situation right now as they continue to chase a spot for the playoffs in the ultra-tough Western Conference. And Rajon Rondo is undoubtedly doing everything he can to try to help the Purple and Gold turn things around.
The Lakers cannot afford to lose this game against the Clippers, as it will most likely be the end of their postseason quest.
The Clippers, who have always been considered as the secondary team in Los Angeles, are trying to prove a point. Over the past couple of years, they have been the better NBA team compared to their co-tenants at Staples Center, and they are once again trying to shove it into the throats of the Lakers and its fans.
The Clips are currently the seventh best team in the West, and they are seven games above the Lakers in the conference standings.
