In the last several months, LaVar Ball has taken center stage behind his son, Lonzo Ball, with his constant antics through the media.

Grandpa Ball was quite revealing in the interview also giving out the nickname he gave LaVar as a child calling him “Bravo” because of his independence as a child. He also divulged that he didn't allow LaVar to play any sports until he was in the 10th grade.
The eldest Ball also chimed in on his son's playoffs prediction for the Los Angeles Lakers with his grandson now in the fold simply stating “we will see with his attitude and ability we will see.”
It's quite clear that the Ball family is quite a confident bunch through three generations with that hope and aspirations all on the shoulders on Lonzo to meet the lofty expectations set by the Lakers, his family, and most importantly himself.
