LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers had a rather messy 2021-22 season, and that was the focus of the first teaser of ClutchPoints‘ newest animated series “The Association.”
The teaser shows animated characters of LeBron, Anthony Davis, Carmelo Anthony, Russell Westbrook and Dwight Howard working in a “The Office” type setting before a fire broke out. Of course chaos ensued after, with references to the Purple and Gold's forgettable season filled with injuries and regrets.

The Association is a CP original animated show for all NBA fans.

Seriously, these Lakers characters should have listened to Dwight Schrute's Fire Safety lessons.
Article Continues BelowAs mentioned, “The Association” is ClutchPoints' original animated series. Full episodes will be released starting in June, though no other details have been revealed beyond the teaser showing the Lakers preventing (or escaping from?) their office fire.
According to the show's description, though, “The Association” will tackle why “basketball is literally a business.” New preview clips of the show will be released on the ClutchPoints Instagram, Youtube, TikTok, and Twitter pages every Saturday, Sunday and Monday at 8AM EST.
It'll definitely be interesting to see what else “The Association” brings. Beyond just LeBron James and the Lakers, who doesn't want to see the turmoil in Brooklyn leading to James Harden's exit? Or the drama in Philly starring Ben Simmons?
The current issue with the Utah Jazz collapsing and the possibility of the Donovan Mitchell-Rudy Gobert duo breaking up is another worthy matter to discuss. How about Oklahoma City Thunder's treasure trove of draft picks? Basketball is indeed a business, and the new series could be a fun watch for some offseason entertainment.
