Los Angeles Lakers’ legendary point guard Magic Johnson used his platform as an NBA great to address the ongoing protests in Charlotte on Thursday, pleading for the violence to stop.
Following more distressing news of African Americans being murdered by the police force, Magic took to his Twitter account to post a string of emotionally charged tweets.
