NBA free agency has pretty much come and gone, except in the case of Kawhi Leonard, who remains without a decision on July 2, and the reason for the wait may be intentional on the part of Leonard.
According to Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports, Leonard may purposely be keeping the Los Angeles Lakers, Los Angeles Clippers and Toronto Raptors waiting to see if the can trust them.
Haynes also said he expects a decision from Leonard by July 4, at the latest.
The general consensus seems to be that Leonard will end up choosing one of the two Los Angeles teams, and over the last few days, more and more momentum has seemed to be building toward Leonard joining the Lakers.

Leonard spent the first seven years of his career with the San Antonio Spurs, winning the championship in 2014 and taking home Finals MVP honors. However, last year, due to a disconnect with the franchise concerning his quad injury, Leonard demanded a trade and was dealt to the Raptors last summer.
