Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor, together with newly-wed husband Anand Ahuja attended the game between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Golden State Warriors.
Kapoor, who has starred in films such as Raanjhanaa, Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, and Veere Di Wedding, is regarded as one of the highest-paid actresses in Bollywood. And on Monday, she brought along her basketball-loving husband to Staples Center to watch her first Lakers game.

Ahuja was still pleased to see his team go up against the defending champions, even though the Lakers missed the services of LeBron James, Lonzo Ball, and Rajon Rondo.

While the game wasn't entertaining for Lakers fans as it was a blowout, for the most part, it was nonetheless an excellent showcase of elite basketball talent. Klay Thompson was the star of the night as he exploded for 44 points, including 10 consecutive 3-pointers to start his night — an NBA record.
The Lakers, for their part, had significant contributions from almost everyone. Ivica Zubac showed his great touch around the paint as he finished with 18 points. Michael Beasley logged in 15 points in just 18 minutes of action. Kyle Kuzma and Brandon Ingram had 16 and 17 points, respectively.
