Arguably one of the most intelligent players that we have seen in the league, Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James' previous coaches make their on-court strategies based on the four-time MVP's preferences and skills. Sports analyst Skip Bayless didn't waste any time in taking a jab at LeBron and Lakers coach Luke Walton.

The ever-brash and bold Bayless wittingly played with words to make it seem that James is the one making decisions in LA. James played only 17 minutes in the first half of his Lakers debut against the Portland Trail Blazers, something that Bayless was surprised at.

The Lakers lost the game, but James was in his usual lethal form. At 33 years old, it seems like the LeBron freight train isn't close to slowing down.

LeBron scored a team-high 26 points, pulled down 12 rebounds and dished off 6 assists. However, he committed six of the Lakers' 15 turnovers, an obvious indicator that the revamped Lakers are still progressing in terms of chemistry.

ESPN's Ohm Youngmisuk mentioned LeBron's post-game comments.

“Um, not as fast as you guys think it's going to happen,” LeBron James said when asked how long it will take for the Lakers' chemistry to develop. “I always kind of compare it to like instant oatmeal. It is not that fast. It takes a while to get to where you can close your eyes and know exactly where your guys are.”

Flawed as they are right now, there's no doubt that Lakeshow is back in Los Angeles. While title hopes seem very grand as of this moment, look for the Lakers to bring the heat in the stacked Western Conference.
