The Los Angeles Lakers went into Game 4 with a 2-1 series advantage over the Phoenix Suns and seemingly all the momentum on their side. However, after a groin strain that forced Anthony Davis out of the game for the entire second half, the Suns walked away with the victory and tied the series at 2-2.
Sure, this could be a serious injury for Davis, who has battled various injuries over the course of the past 365 days. Regardless, Lakers head coach Frank Vogel spoke on the situation after Game 4 and didn't seem too concerned, mainly because he has seen this before as a head coach when he was in the Eastern Conference.

Vogel knows firsthand. While he was head coach of the Indiana Pacers, he had some run-ins with LeBron James and those tough Miami Heat teams. Chris Bosh got injured and LeBron went beast mode. Now, if Davis is out for some time, LeBron will need to go beast mode to lift the Lakers over the Suns in the first round.
However, if there's anybody that could do it, it's LeBron James, who at the age of 36 continues to shock the world with impressive play on a nightly basis. Through the first three games of the series, LeBron has 69 points on 28-56 from the field.

He has been efficient, and when needed he can take control of the game. If Davis is out, which could very possibly be the case, James needs to turn on the burners and take over the team and the game in Game 5 and beyond for the Lakers to have any shot at moving on.
He's done it before, and he can do it again. Vogel has seen it as an opposing coach, and Vogel saw it last season as the Lakers went on to win the NBA title in the Orlando Bubble.
He somehow turns on the jets when he has to and time and time again finds a way to will his team to victory regardless of who the opponent is.
So, truth be told, don't count out LeBron James and the Lakers, even if Davis has to miss some time. Game 5 is Tuesday in Phoenix and the Lakers should come out firing, especially after a tough, brutal Game 4 loss at Staples Center.
