Dwyane Wade only has a few games left in his “last dance,” as his legendary season comes to an end in his 15th season.

Wade, a 13-time All-Star, 8-time All-NBA team members and three-time NBA champion, has been nothing if not entertaining in his final season in the NBA, and he has produced multiple highlights before, during and after each game of the season.

Who could forget Wade’s thrilling, one-footed, buzzer-beating three-pointer against the Golden State Warriors, after which he leapt onto the scorer’s table and pounded his chest – sending the home Miami crowd into a frenzy.

What about when longtime postseason nemesis Gregg Popovich surprised Wade with a wrapped gift of signed jerseys of Tim Duncan, Manu Ginobili and Tony Parker before Wade’s final game in San Antonio?

It’s been a wild ride for Wade this season, and he recently sat down with ESPN’s Rachel Nichols to delve deep into what his plans are going forward after this season, as well as what led to him returning for “one last dance” with the Heat. In a recent clip, Wade details a notable player that helped convince to return for one more year:

That’s right, Wade’s good friend and fellow “banana boat” crew member Carmelo Anthony was partially responsible for convincing Wade to stay and play one more year with the Heat. Though Melo had something of a nightmarish season, it seems likely that he, too, will come back next year for what might be a less fanfare-filled “last dance.”
