Miami Heat legend Dwyane Wade wishes he could have faced prime LeBron James once during the playoffs in his legendary career.
During James' two stints with the Cleveland Cavaliers, the Heat and Cavs never faced off in the postseason.
“I definitely wish I did,” Wade told Rohan Nadkarni of Sports Illustrated. “Obviously, I always talk about Kobe was my favorite player to play against. But when you see a team four times a year, one of my best friends. I loved playing against Bron. I loved competing against him. I always loved stacking myself up to see where I was against him, or against his teams.
“I wish I had that opportunity to get him in the playoffs. I think the game would have loved it. It didn’t happen against each other, but we gave them some other memories.”

James and Wade won two titles together with the Heat. Wade won one with Shaquille O'Neal back in 2006, while LeBron won his third with the Cavs in 2016 with Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love.
Wade is the best player in Heat franchise history. LeBron only played in South Beach for four seasons, but he's the franchise leader in points per game (26.9) and player efficiency rating (29.6).
