Luka Doncic may be just an 18-year-old kid whom his roommate Goran Dragic says still watches cartoons and Friends, but according to Sportando, the Miami Heat star believes that even at a young age his fellow Slovenian is a star.
Goran Dragic: Doncic? He's a star, still a kid. I can say he still watches cartoons and Friends https://t.co/9RjbPlRWt6

The young Doncic certainly did his best to back up his teammate’s claim during Slovenia’s EuroBasket quarterfinal win over Latvia. In a game featuring current NBA stars in Dragic and Porzingis, the 18-year-old was arguably the best player on the court. He scored a team-high 27 points on 7-of-14 shooting and added nine rebounds.

Doncic is having himself an outstanding EuroBasket tournament. He’s averaging close to 16 points (second on the team behind Dragic), a team-leading 7.7 rebounds, and 3.1 assists through seven games.
Doncic, who is currently playing for Real Madrid in Spain, is widely projected to be a top lottery pick in the 2018 NBA Draft. He’s only helping his draft stock with his fine performances this summer and proving Dragic right in his assessment that the young Slovenian is destined for stardom.
