The Miami Heat have been lauded over the years for their continued success in finding hidden gems and simply developing them into stern contributors on the team. From Duncan Robinson to Max Strus, their roster today is filled with multiple such talents who head coach Erik Spoelstra has gotten the best out of.
Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James sure has taken notice of the Heat’s world-class player development.
Washington Wizards forward Kyle Kuzma took to Twitter during the opening game of the Heat's Eastern Conference first-round series against the Atlanta Hawks, where he acclaimed their grand success in the player development department. James then gave his stamp of approval to the Heat’s coaching staff.

James had a front-row seat to watch Spoelstra work his coaching magic in the last decade. During his four-season run with the Heat, James played alongside several players who, while they were past their prime, Spoelstra still managed to churn them into quality contributors off the bench. From Shane Battier to Chris Andersen, Spoelstra continued to accommodate to the strengths of his players and found just the right role for them.
Not much has changed for Spoelstra a decade later. He is still exploiting the potential out of much of his roster, which has resulted in three straight trips to the NBA playoffs.
