The Miami Heat took it on the chin in their blowout loss to the Boston Celtics in Game 2. But it's not all bad news coming into Game 3.

PJ Tucker exited the contest with a knee injury after playing in 22 minutes on Thursday night. But according to NBA insider Chris Haynes, the injury isn't going to force him to miss any time.

The swelling in left knee of Miami Heat forward P.J. Tucker has subsided, allowing him to bypass an MRI and he intends to be available for Game 3 tomorrow against Boston Celtics, league sources tell Yahoo Sports, NBA on TNT.

Both Erik Spoelstra and Jimmy Butler expressed their belief that PJ Tucker would do everything in his power to make himself available for the Heat in Game 3.

“Don’t even think about it, I’m playing,” said the Heat veteran to Erik Spoelstra after his injury scare.

Given the offensive firepower on the Celtics roster, they're going to need PJ Tucker's defensive acumen and toughness to match up with the larger Boston side.

With the series tied 1-1 heading to Boston, the Miami Heat have their work cut out for them to take back control of the Eastern Conference Finals. Having PJ Tucker back certainly helps the cause.
