Miami Heat point guard Goran Dragic had the chance to be the hero and complete his team's potential sweep of the Milwaukee Bucks in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference semifinal on Sunday afternoon.
Unfortunately, the veteran point guard's last-second effort came up woefully short.
The Heat had a side-out possession after Bucks guard Donte DiVincenzo tied the game at 107 apiece with a late free throw. Both teams scrambled to make late subs, and Miami swingman Jae Crowder had trouble getting the ball inbounded.
Crowder eventually found Dragic in the corner, but his game-winning try was lodged on the side of the rim.
The Heat and Bucks battled into overtime, but Milwaukee eventually edged them out with a 118-115 victory.
Perhaps Goran Dragic and the Heat will wonder what might have been on that final possession.
