LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers fell to the Miami Heat on Sunday in a tightly-contested game, 113-107. Jimmy Butler had a big part in that, notching his 10th triple-double in a Heat uniform as he dropped 20 points, dished out 12 assists, and grabbed 10 rebounds.

After the game, Bron couldn't help but praise Butler for his consistency over the years whenever the two face each other.

Via Sports Illustrated:

“Anytime you're playing this game throughout your career, there are certain guys that stick out,” the Lakers star said. “That you know when you step on the floor, it's going to be maximum effort every possession and that's from both sides. You're gonna win some and you gonna lose some … It was fun and exciting to be in that much.”

“Every time we've matched up, no matter what uniform he's had on, I've had on,” James said. We've always battled it out. I have nothing but for respect for a guy that brings it every single night, brings hit hard hat, punches his clock, leaves it all out on the floor.”

James meanwhile had a pretty solid game of his own, dropping 33 points for the Lakers while also collecting 11 boards. It was LA's second loss in their last three games though and there are a couple more tough matchups ahead as the Lakers visit the Brooklyn Nets and the Philadelphia 76ers later this week.
