The Milwaukee Bucks are heading into the 2019 NBA offseason looking to make a few improvements. While they need to make some moves, they don't need to make many. Retaining their talent from this season will be a major key while adding other pieces around the core.

Even though they were unable to defeat Kawhi Leonard and the Toronto Raptors in the Eastern Conference Finals, the Bucks are close to being championship contenders. Led by Giannis Antetokounmpo, it was obvious that Milwaukee didn't have the playoff experience needed to beat an experienced team.

Many may not think the Bucks can get the kind of piece that they need in the NBA Draft. A young player isn't exactly the difference maker that a title contender usually needs. That being said, there is a lot of talent to be found late in the first round in this year's draft class.

Milwaukee has quickly gone from being an easy playoff out to being one of the top teams in the NBA. There are quite a few directions the Bucks could go with the No. 30 overall pick in the draft.

Let's dive in and take a look at the top three ideal options for the Bucks with the No. 30 pick in the 2019 NBA Draft.

Grant Williams

3. Target Tennessee Forward Grant Williams

One of the most intriguing prospects in this year's NBA Draft class is Tennessee forward Grant Williams. He has big-time potential and the stats to back it up. Williams is without question capable of playing a role immediately and his draft stock has risen and fallen throughout the entire process.

Williams averaged 18.8 points per game last season to go along with 7.5 rebounds, 3.2 assists, 1.5 blocks, and 1.1 steals. He shot 56.5 percent from the field overall and knocked down 32.6 percent of his limited three-point attempts. Adding another versatile forward would be a great move for the Bucks and he has a chance to develop into a starter in the future.

2. Add a Lethal Backup Scoring Point Guard

Malcolm Brogdon is set to hit the free agency market this offseason, but it seems unlikely that the Bucks will allow another team to steal him away. If they are able to retain him, the Bucks are going to need a young backup point guard and could use another scorer off the bench. That's where Purdue's Carsen Edwards could come into play.

Carsen Edwards, NBA Draft

Projected to be a late first or early second-round pick in the NBA Draft, Edwards should be available for the Bucks. He needs to work on his shooting consistency, but averaged 24.3 points per game last season for the Boilermakers. Milwaukee could have a point guard duo of Brogdon and Edwards, who would compliment each other very well.

1. A Potential Future Starting Point Guard Could Be Available

Finally, Ty Jerome could be the best fit for the Bucks if he's available at No. 30. Jerome has been rising up draft boards over the past couple of months and would be an intriguing fit for the Bucks as well.

Jerome had a great season with Virginia, averaging 13.6 points, 5.5 assists, and 4.2 rebounds per game. He shot 47.3 percent from the field and 39.7 percent from the three-point line. Milwaukee could draft him as an insurance policy for Brogdon and potentially have a long-term quality starter if he develops the way many think he can.
