Aaron Rodgers, quarterback for the Green Bay Packers, is now a part-owner of the Milwaukee Bucks.
As reported by Matt Velazquez of the Journal Sentinel:
The @Bucks just announced that @AaronRodgers12 has bought in and is now a part owner of the franchise. The @Packers QB is here sitting courtside along with girlfriend Danica Patrick and fellow Bucks owner Wes Edens.

This makes Rodgers the only active NFL player to be a limited partner of an NBA franchise.
As reported by Rob Demovsky of ESPN, it's a dream come true for Rodgers to finally have a minority stake in the Bucks:
In a statement, Rodgers said:
“I have proudly called Wisconsin my home for the past 13 years, and I am thankful for the friendships and the opportunities I have been given to live and play here. I am excited and honored to deepen my connection to the region by joining Wes Edens, Marc Lasry, Jamie Dinan, Mike Fascitelli and the ownership group of the Milwaukee Bucks. As a huge fan of the NBA and the sport of basketball, this is a dream come true for me, and I look forward to furthering my affinity for Wisconsin sports as a minority owner in a team I love and support.”
For their part, the Bucks ownership group said via a statement:
“Aaron is a winner, a Wisconsin icon, and we are honored to welcome him to our partnership group of the Milwaukee Bucks. With our team in the playoffs and our new world-class arena opening this fall, it's an exciting time for this city and the Bucks. We are thrilled for Aaron to be with us.
Rodgers, a two-time NFL MVP, missed nine games for the Packers last season. He broke a collarbone in his left shoulder against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 6.
