The beer-chugging phenomenon continues to grow among professional athletes. Back in May, Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers and offensive lineman David Bakhtiari engaged in a chugging face-off while sitting courtside during the Milwaukee Bucks' Eastern Conference Finals series against the Toronto Raptors.

Bucks guard George Hill appeared to notice the two football stars going at it, because he later vowed that he could “shotgun” faster than Bakhtiari:
Most fun exit Interview so far is easily George Hill. Said he went to the Brewers game yesterday but turned down chugging a beer while on the video board. Did note that he’s a top 10 shotgunner and would easily beat @DavidBakhtiari in a chugging contest.

On Sunday, Hill proved what his words were worth. During an appearance on the video board during Green Bay's game against the Denver Broncos on Sunday afternoon, Hill saluted the crowd before downing his beer — finally fulfilling his promise to Wisconsinites everywhere.
This is becoming one of the greatest Wisconsin sports traditions ever. Cheers to the @Bucks George Hill for being a shotgun champion. pic.twitter.com/vHLUtQ8UUn

Although it is unclear whether or not Hill successfully beat Bakhtiari's chugging time, he has undoubtedly endeared himself to the people of Green Bay.
They are hardly the only ones who think highly of Hill. After a fantastic 2019 playoff run during which he averaged 11.5 points, 3.5 rebounds and 2.8 assists in just over 26 minutes per game, the Bucks elected to re-sign Hill while allowing restricted free agent point guard Malcolm Brogdon to sign with the Indiana Pacers.
Hill gave the Bucks a massive boost during their conference semifinal victory over the Boston Celtics, and he continued his steady play against the Raptors.
Milwaukee ascended to the top of the Eastern Conference last season, but now the expectations have ratcheted up significantly. With Kawhi Leonard departing from the Raptors and Kevin Durant missing the entire 2019-20 season for the Brooklyn Nets as he rehabs a torn Achilles tendon, the Bucks may be the team to beat in the East.
Hill's shotgunning skills may be supreme, but the Bucks need him to perform just as admirably on the court.
