The Milwaukee Bucks emerged victorious against the defending champion Toronto Raptors on Saturday with a final score of 115-105.

Following the entertaining contest, Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo admitted to the satisfaction this victory brought to him, considering how it was the Raptors that eliminated Milwaukee from last season's Eastern Conference Finals. The win still felt really good despite the fact that former Raptor Kawhi Leonard was no longer involved in the contest.

The Greek Freak opened up about what this win meant to him:

“Definitely, I had a lot of motivation,” he said, via ESPN. “Obviously, a different team. Kawhi (Leonard) is not on the team, but I think guys have stepped up. (Kyle) Lowry is still playing amazing. (Pascal) Siakam has stepped up a lot for this team. They are the team that cost us a trip to the NBA Finals. Obviously, you are going to come out and play a little bit harder and have a little bit extra juice in you.”

Antetokounmpo was a man on a mission Saturday, as he led his team to victory with 36 points (on 14-of-20 shooting), 15 rebounds, eight assists, a steal, and four blocks in 36 minutes of play.

As the reigning Most Valuable Player winner mentioned above, Kyle Lowry has been a beast for the Raptors to start the season, and Saturday night was no different for the veteran point guard. Lowry matched Giannis' scoring output, logging 36 points himself for Toronto, along with five 3-pointers, four rebounds, six assists, and a block.

Giannis Antetokounmpo and company are off on Sunday and will be back in action Monday against the Minnesota Timberwolves to start their four-game road trip.
