Giannis Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton have bee together with the Milwaukee Bucks for eight seasons now, and through the years, they have developed a bond that transcends more than just being teammates.

With that said, Giannis admitted that the day Middleton retires would be the one of the saddest and most heartbreaking days of his career.

“I told him the day you retire is going to be the toughest day in my career because I’ve been with you the whole time, and it’s been an unbelievable journey. He’s a great team guy, from where we started and where we are,” Giannis said, recalling a past conversation with Middleton (per Michael Scotto of Hoops Hype).

Giannis Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton are undoubtedly the two best players of the Bucks, and they showed their undeniable chemistry in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals against the Atlanta Hawks. The two recorded a 30-10 game each, with Middleton finishing with a team-high 38 points on top of 11 boards while Antetokounmpo had 33 and 11.

Middleton for his  part, scored 20 points in the fourth quarter alone to lead the Bucks to a 113-102 victory. He outscored the whole Hawks squad in the final period, as Trae Young and Co. just made 17 points in a frustrating collapse.

It is certainly great to see Giannis and Khris share a strong bond, and it's delightful to witness how great teammates they  have become for each other. Perhaps this chemistry is exactly what the Bucks need as they try to reach the NBA Finals once again.
