The Milwaukee Bucks won the NBA Finals over the Phoenix Suns in dramatic fashion as Giannis Antetokounmpo dropped a 50-piece in the closing game. After the victory, Suns head coach Monty Williams made an appearance in the Bucks locker room to congratulate them on taking home the title.
Well, the Bucks star spoke with Malika Andrews of ESPN and gave some clarity on the Willimas' crashing the Bucks celebration after the victory. It turns out Giannis walked in with Monty.
From the cutting room floor of our @SportsCenter convo: Giannis discusses this moment Suns coach Monty Williams. “I had the people stop the music and stop the champagne… I told him, ‘I feel like there's a good chance we might running back next year.’ More: https://t.co/GizGXOyuPj pic.twitter.com/YjuFhbDES7

What a gesture by Giannis. The Suns' marvelous run was nothing to be ashamed of, especially considering the majority of their players had limited– if any– playoff experience.
However, for some reason, the classy move by Williams to go into the Bucks locker room was met with some criticism.
Ppl who hate me for saying this are the same ppl who record themselves giving money to homeless ppl and then post it on IG. https://t.co/BLFqq5H1xl

Later, Amin Elhassan clarified his initial comments about Williams crashing the Bucks party.

Whatever the case may be, Giannis showed an absolutely high level of sportsmanship, as did Monty Williams, especially after a tough Game 6 loss to finish out his first season as the head man in Phoenix.
The Suns were up 2-0 before Giannis and the Bucks turned on the jets and won four straight games to capture the victory and send the city of Milwaukee into a frenzy.
As Giannis Antetokounmpo said himself, it is quite possible both these teams make a return to the NBA Finals.
