Giannis Antetokounmpo is ready to move on from the controversial 10-second free throw violation called on him in a clutch moment during Game 1 of the Milwaukee Bucks-Miami Heat playoffs series.

To recall, with a little over a minute remaining and the Bucks just ahead by one point at 97-96, Antetokounmpo was on the free throw line doing his usual routine. However, as he made his shot, he was called for a 10-second violation. Of course, the call was met with frustration by the Milwaukee side as Giannis' shot went in and would have given them a 98-96 lead.

The freebie was made all the more crucial when Jimmy Butler tied the game and sent it to overtime at 99-all. Had the free-throw counted, it's possible the Bucks would have a 100-97 lead in the closing seconds that would then force the Heat to take a 3-pointer just to give themselves another shot at the W.

“I don't remember. Probably. Probably I did, but I don't remember. And I'm not just going to stand up that play and I'm not going to complain about it because that's not who I am. If it was a 10-second call, great call. Like I'm going to keep doing my routine. Keep trying to make my free throws. And if it's 10 seconds, it's gonna be 10 seconds. I'm gonna live with that,” Giannis Antetokounmpo said, per Eric Nehm of The Athletic.

Fortunately for Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Bucks, Khris Middleton was able to save them from a massive collapse with a game-winner in overtime.

For what it's worth, it might have been a different story for Giannis had they lose the game due to that controversial call. Simply put, it might be better for the Greek Freak to avoid the violation since it might be costly moving forward.
