Memphis Grizzlies guard Ja Morant isn't shy about making his feelings known on social media. He regularly posts his thoughts on Twitter, even though some could ruffle a few feathers.
With the Milwaukee Bucks and the Phoenix Suns battling in Game 6 of the NBA Finals on Tuesday, Morant singled out Khris Middleton in one of his tweets. He paid the Bucks swingman a compliment, saying he's a tough competitor. Morant also had to point out that Middleton is also from South Carolina just like him.

As Morant observed, Middleton has been fantastic for the Bucks in their last two wins, scoring 40 points in Game 4 and followed it up with 29 points in Game 5. He has also hit timely baskets in the fourth quarter to help the Bucks stave off the hard-fighting Suns. With Giannis Antetokounmpo's woes from the charity stripe, Middleton has arguably been the Bucks' best closer.

Morant would also agree that Middleton has been tough on the defensive end as well. He's helped cover Suns star Devin Booker, while also switching at times to bigger guys like Deandre Ayton and Jae Crowder. Middleton's high IQ and length have helped him become one of the more underrated two-way guys in the NBA.
It's quite crazy to think that the Detroit Pistons quickly let go of Middleton after just playing for 27 games in his rookie season.
If only the Pistons saw what Ja Morant sees on Khris Middleton, then they might not be mired in mediocrity. But as they say, one team's trash is another team's treasure.
