The Milwaukee Bucks are embarking in their coaching search, reportedly targeting interviews with former Atlanta Hawks coach Mike Budenholzer and former Charlotte Hornets coach Steve Clifford, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

While the two are the most experienced in the list, the Bucks will also interview other popular candidates like Monty Williams, David Fizdale, and David Blatt, among others.

The Bucks have the potential to rattle other teams' coaching search, given that they are the golden nugget of all coaching gigs available in the league. Interviewing the likes of Budenholzer, Fizdale, and Blatt will have an impact in the New York Knicks' search, given that they are the organization's reported top three targets.

Having mustered the seventh seed in the Eastern Conference, the Bucks fell short in seven games against a battle-tested Boston Celtics team, led by mastermind Brad Stevens, who made the most of his players to edge out his competition.

The Bucks fired Jason Kidd midway through the season, placing Joe Prunty as the interim for the remainder of the year, though he is unlikely to receive consideration to remain at the helm.

Milwaukee's coaching vacancy is considered the most succulent by head coaches, given the vital chance to coach a generational talent like Giannis Antetokounmpo as he grows into his prime.

Much like the Knicks, the organization is expected to be thorough in the hiring, hoping to take the next step this upcoming 2018-19 season.
