Following the shocking news about LiAngelo Ball getting arrested in China for allegedly shoplifting, the Ball family are once again in the center of controversy. While the attention they received in the past has mostly stemmed from LaVar Ball’s absurd comments, this time it’s one of his sons who has placed the spotlight back to the much talked-about basketball family.

As Lonzo Ball and the Los Angeles Lakers visited the Milwaukee Bucks on Saturday, the home team’s mascot, Bango, found a way to troll the Balls with a sign he made that drew a lot of laughs from the fans. He called LiAngelo the steals leader of their family, throwing a pun on the incident he was part of in China.

The good news for the mascot is the Bucks backed him up with his trolling with a 98-90 win. Giannis Antetokounmpo led the way once again for the home team with a solid game of 33 points, 15 rebounds, three assists, one steal, and one block. Lonzo Ball on the other hand made a good account of himself as he recorded the first triple-double of his professional career, and became the youngest player in NBA history to reach the feat.

It may seem like a difficult time for the Ball family, but LaVar seems not too worried about LiAngelo’s situation. He already said he believes he’ll be fine, while Lonzo appears to be developing a good rhythm for himself.
