Once again, Giannis Antetokounmpo has come through for the Milwaukee Bucks. On Friday night, Antetokounmpo scored the game-winning layup against the New York Knicks. The beautiful play symbolizes Antetokounmpo's unique style, especially in clutch situations.
From the beginning of the possession, it was apparent that the last play for written solely for Antetokounmpo. He confidently dribbled the ball with ease, drove straight to the basket, and finished with a spectacular spin move into a layup to win the game.
It was interesting to see the Knicks allow Antetokounmpo to reach that close to the basket, ending up in the game-winning layup. They didn't attempt to trap or double team him, knowing that he is the Bucks' main offensive contributor. Originally, Kristaps Porzingis was tasked to guard the 6-foot-11 point forward.
After a screen and switch, Enes Kanter stood in front of Antetokounmpo but could do nothing to stop the Greek Freak from getting to the basket. This offensive sequence should frighten NBA teams moving forward.

Much like Kevin Durant, Antetokounmpo's height makes him a deadly foe. He is simply too long for most defenders and can finish with ease, even in the final seconds of the game. With 29 points and 11 rebounds, Antetokounmpo clearly proved that he is a dominant offensive force on Friday night.
The Bucks will face the Nets on Sunday as they attempt to climb the Eastern Conference standings. With the amazing play of Antetokounmpo, the Bucks have a lethal weapon to make sure they enter and close games effectively. Hopefully, Antetokounmpo's brilliant scoring performance can carry over to the next game, as this certainly won't be Antetokounmpo's last game-winning play.
In fact, this wasn't even his first dagger against the Knicks.
