ESPN's āThe Last Danceā docuseries has provided viewers with some unique insights into the life of Michael Jordan ā including a peek into one of his dorm rooms while at the University of North Carolina.
Now, you might be able to visitāand even sleep ināyoung Jordan's early '80s abode. Sort of.
When Graduate Hotels's newest location officially opens up in Chapel Hill, N.C., this fall, it will reportedly feature a detailed recreation of Jordan's college digs available for guests to book.
According to Graduate Hotels CEO Ben Weprin, āThe room is an identical replica. From the ceiling, to the brick wall, to the record player and records, the posters, the pennants ā every single piece in that room, we have it.ā
Jordan's dormitory featured a slew of classic vintage basketball posters, like the iconic āJohnson's Lawā poster with Milwaukee Bucks great Marques Johnson.

Fittingly, the room will be labeled āThe Jordan Suiteā, and it will be room number 23.
It will also include MJ memorabilia such as game-worn sneakers from his Tar Heels days, a check for five dollars that the future multi-billionaire (and gambling aficionado) cashed after winning a game of pool from his time on campus, and his original UNC student ID card.
āWe thought it would be a fun way to pay homage to him,ā Weprin said. āIt is like going back in time, trying to get in the head of Michael Jordan. He was a normal kid ā even though he is an icon now.ā
The dorm was also memorably featured in a 1983 photo shoot for Sports Illustrated.
