Minnesota Timberwolves forward Andrew Wiggins left Monday's game against the Indiana Pacers in the first quarter due to a minor quad issue. Though he's admittedly feeling better now, Josh Lewenberg of TSN Sports is reporting that Wiggins will be a game time decision for Wednesday night's match-up against the Toronto Raptors.

Following Monday's win over the Pacers, Wiggins, a native of Toronto, noted that he was planning on playing in Wednesday's game. However, he's currently listed as “day-to=day.”

Wiggins, now 23 years of age, has made four appearances with the Timberwolves this season, racking up averages of 15.8 points on 43.1 percent shooting from the field (31.3 percent from beyond the arc), 3.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists, and 1.3 steals in 27.3 minutes per outing.

Just for the record, Wiggins has only missed one game over the course of his career.

Wiggins played just eight minutes before exiting Monday's game, scoring two points. Timberwolves rookie guard Josh Okogie was the beneficiary of Wiggins' absence. Okogie struggled to find a rhythm at first, but through a bit of perseverance, he finished with 12 points off the bench.

“I just like the way he sort of persevered through it,” Thibodeau said of Okogie. “I thought the spirit of the team was strong. His teammates were encouraging him to shoot, and he just kept playing, which I think is important.”

Wednesday night's Timberwolves-Raptors game is scheduled to tip inside Scotiabank Arena at 7:00 p.m. EST. An official update on Wiggins' status will be provided closer to game time.
