There's bad news for the Minnesota Timberwolves: They'll be down not one, but two players in their game against the Miami Heat on Sunday.
The Timberwolves' official public relations account disclosed on Twitter that guard Derrick Rose is “doubtful” to be playing due to his right ankle sprain. Starting point guard Jeff Teague, who is suffering from left ankle inflammation, is also unlikely to appear on the court.

Derrick Rose suffered the injury on Friday during his team's game against the Atlanta Hawks (which they lost, in overtime, by 123-120). He received the injury after attempting a jump shot during the last play. Prior to the injury, he played for almost 40 minutes scoring 25 points, dishing out nine assists and grabbing three rebounds.

Rose, who was filling in for the previously sidelined Jeff Teague, was re-evaluated on Saturday, and received the bad news.
Prior to his sidelining, Rose was enjoying quite the successful season, with an average of 18.9 points and 4.8 assists while shooting 48.6 percent from the field and 46.2 from the 3-point line through 32 games (11 starts).
If Derrick Rose and Jeff Teague are sidelined for a long time, the Timberwolves will have to rely on Tyus Jones and Jerryd Bayless to pick up the slack.
The Timberwolves will play the Heat on Sunday beginning at 6:00 p.m. EST.
