Former NBA Most Valuable Player Derrick Rose is confident that his talent will be fully utilized with the Minnesota Timberwolves as he looks forward to redeeming himself from the horrific ACL injury he suffered during the 2011-2012 NBA playoffs.
Rose, 29, signed with the Timberwolves for the remainder of the season on Thursday after being waived by the Utah Jazz after the NBA trade deadline last month.
Prior to being waived, the three-time NBA All-Star who joined Cleveland during offseason and was part of a three-team trade in the deadline that sent Rose and Jae Crowder to the Jazz, George Hill and Rodney Hood to the Cavaliers and Iman Shumpert and Joe Johnson to the Sacramento Kings.
Despite averaging career lows of 9.8 points, 1.8 rebounds and 1.6 assists per outing, the former Chicago Bulls superstar is confident that he will be given enough playing time most especially since he will once again be playing with head coach Tom Thibodeau who transformed him as one of the league's elite athletes a few years ago.

In a tweet by Timberwolves writer Tim Faklis, Rose said that Thibodeau will maximize his potential as he looks to help the Timberwolves return to the playoffs for the first time since the 2003-2004 NBA season.
Aside from reuniting with Thibodeau, Rose will also be rejoining former Bulls' teammates, Taj Gibson and Jimmy Butler in Minnesota.
“Derrick Rose on what he expects in terms of playing time/role: “[Thibs] wouldn't have me come here if he wasn't gonna use me.”
Rose is expected to make his Timberwolves debut on Monday when the Timberwolves battle the defending champions Golden State Warriors.
