The Los Angeles Clippers were dealt a big blow heading into their Play-In Tournament game against the New Orleans Pelicans on Friday night. Paul George tested positive for the contest after reportedly feeling symptoms. But could the news affect the Minnesota Timberwolves?
The T-Wolves had faced off against Paul George's Clippers on Tuesday, just days prior to the All-Star testing positive. But according to Timberwolves head coach Chris Finch, the team is thankfully cleared of any COVID-related mishaps.
Chris Finch says the Wolves are good to go for Game 1. No one in protocols or anything like that after Paul George tested positive

With a titanic test ahead of them in the two-seeded Memphis Grizzlies, the Timberwolves are going to have to stay as healthy as can be if they want any chance to advance even further.
Even though they didn't face an COVID-19 related scares during their media day, the team did miss Anthony Edwards for much lighter reasons. The Timberwolves star was still getting caught up with packing and finding a sitter for his two dogs before the team heads to Memphis for their first playoff series as a seventh seed or higher since 2004.
Anthony Edwards couldn't speak with the media today because he had to rush home and pack and get two puppies to a dog sitter before they leave for Memphis. Life of a 20-year-old. @Antjr1_ : I blame you! 🙂

Here's to hoping the T-Wolves can stay COVID-free and that Anthony Edwards needs to use his sitter again as the Timberwolves try to make it a long series for the Grizzlies.
