Minnesota Timberwolves point guard Derrick Rose said on media day that this is the healthiest he has felt in years.

Through the team's first four games, that is very evident.

After scoring 28 points against the Dallas Mavericks this past Saturday, a game which saw Derrick Rose perform a bevy of athletic plays in transition, the former league MVP was up to his old tricks again Monday night versus the Indiana Pacers, crossing over Pacers small forward Bojan Bogdanović and finishing the play with a sweet layup.

Derrick Rose has undergone four knee surgeries. The fact that he is still one of the fastest players in the game speaks to how hard he has worked during his rehabs.

A lot of players probably would have given up and retired from the game after four knee surgeries. Not Rose, who says he wants to be an inspiration to young basketball players to never stop believing in yourself even when the rest of the world has.

The Timberwolves defeated the Pacers by a final score of 101-91. Derrick Rose scored 11 points off Minnesota's bench and he also dished out five assists. The Timberwolves are now 2-2 on the young season. Rose entered the game averaging 16.0 points and 5.0 assists.
