Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady is the top headline of the day following his retirement from the NFL. There have been plenty of reactions to Brady's retirement across the sports world, including from San Francisco 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan, who knows firsthand just how great Brady is. Shanahan spoke about Brady's retirement on Tuesday and offered a reaction that NBA legend Michael Jordan will take personally.

49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan called Tom Brady the “greatest football player ever” and “the best athlete ever to play” after his retirement. Michael Jordan won't be happy about that.

Not only that, but Shanahan called Brady's retirement the “biggest ever.” Shanahan better watch out because Jordan might take the 49ers head coach's Brady take “personally” in perfect “Last Dance” style.

In all seriousness, the 49ers head coach might not be alone in anointing Brady the GOAT of all sports ahead of Jordan. After all, the former Buccaneers and New England Patriots star did eclipse the NBA legend's championship total with seven rings.

Of course, it's very hard to compare Brady to Jordan, given the different sports they played. However, it's certainly an interesting sports discussion to have.
