Just recently, Hall of Famer and former NBA champion Dennis Rodman got arrested for DUI charges.

This past Saturday at about 11 p.m. in Newport Beach, Rodman was pulled over by the cops because of a traffic violation he had committed. The cops initiated a field sobriety test and Rodman failed.

But according to a TMZ report, Rodman had a bigger problem, as he was already on probation when he got arrested. This could mean that he would need to serve time in jail.

The probation stems from a plea deal Rodman made with the authorities after a wrong-way accident in July 2016. The accident ended up with an innocent driver swerving to avoid a head-on collision with Rodman and crashing into the center divider.

Rodman was found guilty for driving the wrong way, providing false information to a police officer, and driving without a valid license. He was facing an offense that could send him to jail for two years. But he made a plea deal and was placed under a three-year probation, with the condition that he stays out of trouble.

But because of this new DUI arrest, he could end up serving the original two-year jail sentence plus additional time that could be given for this current arrest.

Dennis Rodman's basketball challenges are long over, but his trials off the basketball court seem to be just starting.
