It seems Joel Embiid has no problem letting this fuse ignited with LaVar Ball stay lit. Embiid and Ball have recently been going back and forth with each other due to typical LaVar comments outrageously made. Embiid did not mince words responding to LaVar saying he and Ben Simmons hadn't proven anything of themselves in the NBA.

After that fiasco blew over, Embiid was asked at the Variety's Sports and Entertainment Summit his thoughts on his comments toward Father Ball. The 23 year old Cameroonian stood by his words and even said he was glad he did it.

Embiid does also mention how his cursing does need to cease for a bit, as he recently got fined. There is no reason to rack up fines and taint your own brand because LaVar Ball is heckling you, and Embiid is starting to see that more clearly.

Either way, Embiid got to get something off his chest and deliver it to the entire NBA world to hear. LaVar will most certainly be ready with a clapback the next time we see him on air, so look out for that when the day inevitably comes.
