If Minnesota Timberwolves power forward Kevin Garnett enters a game this season, he will become the first player in NBA history to appear in 22 seasons, passing both Robert Parish and Kevin Willis, who have appeared in 21. Although KG is not who he once was, this is an incredible accomplishment and just adds to his impressive list of achievements.

Garnett has been serving as a reserve and mentor for a young and talented Timberwolves team. He spent his first 12 seasons in the NBA with Minnesota before being traded to the Boston Celtics, Brooklyn Nets, and then back to Minnesota. Garnett has won only one NBA championship in his career, with Boston in 2008.

Throughout his 21 seasons, Garnett has averaged 17.8 points, 10 rebounds, and 3.7 assists all while shooting 49.7% from the field. Garnett won the MVP award in 2004 and Defensive Player of the Year in 2008.

It is clear that KG will go down as an NBA legend and undoubtably be inducted into the NBA Hall of Fame. Being the first player to appear in 22 NBA seasons only adds to his illustrious career. The Big Ticket has his name written all over NBA history.
