While he might be teammates with LeBron James on the Los Angeles Lakers now, Anthony Davis is not afraid to speak his mind on James' being higher-ranked than Kawhi Leonard in 2K20. When Davis was questioned on the order of the top players, he admitted that he thought Leonard would've been ranked higher than his new teammate:
Anthony Davis says he was surprised that LeBron James was rated higher than Kawhi Leonard- “I was just because of this past season. Obviously LJ got hurt. Kawhi got the championship & Finals MVP. I had Kawhi first, then LeBron and Giannis.”#Lakers #Clippers #NBA2K20 #2KRatings pic.twitter.com/dEqMe7Lgg3

Davis brings up several good points. While LeBron is obviously still one of the top players in the NBA, Leonard had one of the most impressive postseasons in recent memory, while James failed to lead the Lakers to a playoff appearance.
Article Continues BelowThe Klaw put an entire country on his shoulders en route to destroying the Golden State Warriors dynasty and bringing the first championship to Toronto. He proved why he deserves to be in the conversation for best player in the league and started a war for his services in the offseason.
However, Leonard did only play 60 games for the Raptors in the regular season for “workload management”. Perhaps the 2K editors penalized him for missing games while he was seemingly healthy, while James missed games for a legitimate injury.
