Projected No. 1 overall draft pick Zion Williamson still doesn't have an NBA agent, but that could change soon.

According to Sean Deveney of Sporting News, Williamson could reportedly hire an agent possibly as early as next week.

While Williamson's family will still lean heavily on Wells for advice, the goal for choosing an agency is, according to a source, “one that can be most effective at building his brand.”

A source told SN that Williamson and his family are nearing a decision, which will come possibly as early as next week.

Williamson will be drafted by the New Orleans Pelicans with the first overall pick in the draft, which is on June 20. He is expected to sign a lucrative shoe endorsement deal as well.

Williamson averaged 22.6 points, 8.9 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game at Duke while shooting 68.0 percent from the field, 33.8 percent from beyond the arc and 64.0 percent from the free-throw line. The last time the Pelicans had the No. 1 overall pick in the draft, they selected Anthony Davis.

Williamson is garnering so much hype right now. LeBron James was the last NBA prospect to have this much hoopla surrounding him. Whichever agency Zion signs with, they will be a lucky company.
