Miami Heat legend and future NBA Hall of Famer Dwyane Wade has been very visible in his first year of retirement.
Wade almost immediately took on a role as a commentator and analyst for TNT, and he has also remained active on Twitter. “Flash” was especially vocal in cheering on the Heat during the NBA Finals.
The three-time NBA champion has also apparently taken to photobombing engagement photos.
Wade happened upon a proposal while walking along the beach, hilariously reacting to the moment and also stopping by to take a picture with the newly engaged couple.

Dwyane Wade also gave the couple a shoutout on Instagram, saying “It was so dope to witness you guys love.”
The show of support was a welcome one for the couple, who then essentially invited Wade and his own wife, Gabrielle Union, to the wedding.

Pretty wholesome stuff from D-Wade, and very much like “Flash” to turn the celebratory moment into a viral sensation.

After all, this is the same man who birthed the famous dunk contest GIF.

In any case, it will be interesting to see just how involved Dwyane Wade remains with the game of basketball going forward.
Although he was likely saddened the Heat could not pull through in the Finals, Wade was undoubtedly delighted to see his best friend, LeBron James, add to his legacy by winning a fourth championship.
Wade has become a fan of the game, and he has also been very active as a father and mentor for his children.
Basketball fans are likely to hear and see plenty more from Wade in the future. Who knows, he might just show up at your proposal!
