One of the most dominant forces the league has ever seen, and one charismatic TV analyst in his post-NBA career, Shaquille O'Neal has been chosen to grace the cover of the iconic NBA 2K franchise.

Shaq hilariously had an introductory video announcing the honor, but only to be met with the original legendary cover athlete from last season's iteration — Kobe Bryant.

It's a must watch.

The Diesel will sport his Miami Heat jersey in the cover of NBA 2K18 Legend Edition and his Los Angeles Lakers jersey for the Legend Edition Gold. Shaq had also previously graced the cover of NBA 2K7 during his time in South Beach.

While the cover player for the standard edition has not yet been announced, this is what you can get with each edition that will be presented prior to its expected September 15 release.
