If you watch international basketball, you'll often see a very rowdy and excited fanbase, regardless of whether their team is up or down in the game.
In today's earlier matchup between Spain and host-Brazil, the home-court advantage was certainly felt throughout the arena as the Brazilians pulled off an upset and defeated Spain 66-65. A major reason for the loss was Spain's leader and NBA all-star Pau Gasol shooting just 5-12 from the free throw line. The normally 80% free throw shooter couldn't find the stroke, and it cost his team down the stretch.
During the final two free throws he attempted, both misses, the broadcast camera cut to Brazilian fans booing Gasol in hopes of making him miss. One of the fans was caught clearly flipping Gasol off with who hands.
