Yesterday night, Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry called his shot to end malaria.

On a plain black background and sporting a white Davidson University t-shirt, Curry spoke about the importance of fighting to end the deadly disease of malaria, which caused an estimated 627,000 deaths in 2012 according to the CDC. For years, the All-Star guard has partnered with Nothing But Nets to bring nets to at-risk areas in Africa. Now, he is joining President Obama and Call Your Shot for a new campaign.

This campaign is simple. Curry asks fans to post a video of themselves making their favorite trick shot and to tag the video with the hashtag #CallYourShot, then to challenge friends and family members. After posting the video, fans are encouraged to go online to donate to the organization, which works to raise awareness and bring solutions to malaria-ridden communities.

In his video, Curry ends with his own trick shot, bouncing a ball over the basket and into a bucket, then challenges #DubNation, Seth Curry and Lecrae to do the same.

“Even President Obama knows this is a serious issue,” Curry says to finish. “We can do this. Call your shot, and help us beat malaria.”
