New Orleans Pelicans rookie Zion Williamson has gotten off to a terrific start this preseason, most recently registering 26 points and five rebounds in a 128-127 win over the Utah Jazz on Friday night.

Afterward, Pelicans wing Josh Hart lauded Williamson's physical strength:

“You can't compare it to nobody,” Hart said, according to Andrew Lopez of ESPN.com. “Nobody can do that. He does a really good job of being able to use his body. I mean, he's a force.”

Williamson is averaging 23.7 points per game over his first three preseason games, and over his last two contests, he has scored 29 and 26 points, respectively, while shooting a combined 21-of-25 from the floor.

With that, he joined Rudy Gay, Kevin Martin and Shaquille O'Neal as the only players over the last 20 years to score 25 points in back-to-back preseason affairs while shooting 75 percent from the floor.

The first-year big man was even willing to attack two-time Defensive Player of the Year Rudy Gobert and experienced plenty of success, drawing a couple of fouls and making a couple of layups.

New Orleans forward Brandon Ingram is loving Williamson's aggression:

“I love it. I love it,” said Ingram. “He's strong enough to do it and he has the confidence to do it. That's something we need from a guy with that talent right there. You can't teach that. The confidence in him to go out here and go against those guys every night is big, even in preseason.”

Of course, it's still just preseason, but Williamson is already making waves.
