Zion Williamson says he plans to give the New Orleans Pelicans “everything I got.”

Williamson is ready to get started with the Pelicans. The high-flyer is excited to play for the fans and head coach Alvin Gentry.

“I'm going to let them know I'm going to give them everything I got…I understand Rome wasn't built in a day and I also understand I'm a rookie and have a lot to learn,” Williamson said on ESPN.

With Anthony Davis in Los Angeles now, the city of New Orleans and Pelicans franchise is in the palm of Williamson's hands.

The youngster figures to put on a show during his rookie season in The Big Easy. Zion is going to be playing with Lonzo Ball, Jrue Holiday, Brandon Ingram and Josh Hart, a nice core for the Pelicans.

At Duke, Williamson put up 22.6 points, 8.9 rebounds and 2.1 assists. He shot 68.0 percent from the field, 33.8 percent from beyond the arc and 64.0 percent from the free-throw line. We already know Williamson is going to be a terror in the open court.

Zion will have to improve his outside game in the league, but the kid is a hard worker who will put the time in the gym.
