Zion Williamson will make $44.2 million in total money over his first four seasons in the NBA with the New Orleans Pelicans, according to Bobby Marks of ESPN.
The Pelicans selected Williamson with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2019 NBA Draft.

Williamson can sign a rookie scale contract extension with the Pelicans after his third season in the league. New Orleans is hoping Williamson will spend his entire NBA career in The Big Easy.
Article Continues BelowWilliamson put on a show during his one season at Duke. The high-flyer averaged 22.6 points, 8.9 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game while shooting 68.0 percent from the field, 33.8 percent from beyond the arc and 64.0 percent from the free-throw line.
With the NBA salary cap continuing to rise every season, Williamson is going to make a lot of money in the league. The kid deserves it after all the hard work he put in. New Orleans is hoping Zion can lead them to the championship, something Anthony Davis wasn't able to do.
The Pelicans, led by David Griffin, are having a really good offseason. They drafted Williamson and acquired Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram, Josh Hart and three first round picks for Davis. New Orleans was also able to move Solomon Hill's contract.
