New Orleans Pelicans superstar Anthony Davis is not particularly known for being a sharpshooter, making only 31 percent of his shots from behind the arc throughout his career thus far.

Regardless, he impressed his Twitter followers by posting a video of him sinking a shot from a stunning distance and challenging them to match him.

Davis seemed surprised himself that the shot actually went in. Not many people can hit a shot from that kind of distance and the Brow is clearly proud of his range.

While he won't be shooting shots of this caliber when the regular season rolls around, Davis has made an improvement in his 3-point percentage since he entered the league.

Last year, Davis shot a career-high 34 percent from three, as ex-Pelicans center DeMarcus Cousins took the role of becoming the primary interior scorer.

Now that Cousins is gone, Davis will most likely see a lot more touches in the post, but now that the league is aware that he is a serviceable shooter, defenders will be forced to respect his 3-point shot.

Davis and the Pelicans are looking to squeeze into the playoffs this season even after the loss of Cousins and Rajon Rondo. The team made some interesting acquisitions in Julius Randle and Elfrid Payton and will embrace more of a run-and-gun style with the heavy-footed Cousins now playing for the Warriors.

Davis has shown us that he's got an excellent H.O.R.S.E shot in the bag, and hopefully, he can continue that accuracy from the field and lead his team to playoff contention.
