Well, apparently the NBA offseason has officially peaked.
The zenith of basketball boredom has finally been scaled by New York Knicks big man Enes Kanter and Brooklyn Nets guard Spencer Dinwiddie, who engaged each other in a social media quarrel between two peripheral players from teams that will most certainly do nothing on the court next season but grope for form.
It all started when Dinwiddie took a shot at the Knicks while reacting to Metta World Peaceās highly questionable prediction that New York and the Indiana Pacers will battle it out in the next Eastern Conference Finals while saying that Kanterās team isnāt even the best in New York.
𤣠The @nyknicks!? My guy canāt be serious theyāre not even the best team in NY. https://t.co/DMvMuvMspx

Of course, it did not take long for Kanter, who probably spends more time online than the average NBA player, to get a hold of Dinwiddieās tweet. The Knicksā center shot back and issued a warning at Dinwiddie.
Too early to talk $h!t

Dinwiddie saved at least one bullet, though, and returned fire.

Enes Kanter responded once more, but itās something that barely added any more fuel to this pathetic back-and-forth.
I love it..

Dinwiddie does not have to look far to find someone that shares the same level of hostility with Kanter. Veteran forward Jared Dudley, who is now with the Nets, also had a searing Twitter feud with Kanter back when the former was still with the Phoenix Suns.
The NBA definitely needs to return soon.
