Well, apparently the NBA offseason has officially peaked.
The zenith of basketball boredom has finally been scaled by New York Knicks big man Enes Kanter and Brooklyn Nets guard Spencer Dinwiddie, who engaged each other in a social media quarrel between two peripheral players from teams that will most certainly do nothing on the court next season but grope for form.
It all started when Dinwiddie took a shot at the Knicks while reacting to Metta World Peaceâs highly questionable prediction that New York and the Indiana Pacers will battle it out in the next Eastern Conference Finals while saying that Kanterâs team isnât even the best in New York.
𤣠The @nyknicks!? My guy canât be serious theyâre not even the best team in NY. https://t.co/DMvMuvMspx

Of course, it did not take long for Kanter, who probably spends more time online than the average NBA player, to get a hold of Dinwiddieâs tweet. The Knicksâ center shot back and issued a warning at Dinwiddie.
Too early to talk $h!t
I got this saved tho

Dinwiddie saved at least one bullet, though, and returned fire.
Itâs ok. We know how quick your tune can change âKingâ đ lol https://t.co/Ni1xikJhLP

Enes Kanter responded once more, but itâs something that barely added any more fuel to this pathetic back-and-forth.
I love it..
Keep it going brother đ pic.twitter.com/a7dvisMRCYâ Enes FREEDOM (@EnesFreedom) August 14, 2018
Dinwiddie does not have to look far to find someone that shares the same level of hostility with Kanter. Veteran forward Jared Dudley, who is now with the Nets, also had a searing Twitter feud with Kanter back when the former was still with the Phoenix Suns.
The NBA definitely needs to return soon.
